Join this webinar to learn how to effectively engage with and strengthen relationships with legislators through WIC Capitol Hill Education Days. In this webinar, NWA’s Public Policy team will dive into how to set up meetings with legislators, in both a COVID and non-COVID context, in order to raise awareness of the services WIC provides and highlight the positive health outcomes associated with the program to, ultimately, build support for WIC. As WIC providers and participants engage most directly with WIC, they can speak to the complexities of the program and the experience from a local perspective. It is critical that members of Congress learn about WIC from those in their districts, including WIC providers and their constituents.
